The National Forest at our back door provides an excellent escape for the hiker and mountain biker. If you are a skier, you will be closer than any other lodging in the area to Ski Apache. If you are a biker, the area boasts some of the best mountain biking in New Mexico. A hiker? There are hundreds of trails just steps from your cabin door.

Trail to the Forest!

Our easy to follow trail takes you from your cabin door to the National Forest in just a couple of minutes. Explore the foundations of old west cabins with ghostly histories and old silver/turquoise mines closed up long ago. The trail takes you to a pond where the elk and wild mustang water and sleep in the sun. Further up the trail, you will find springs and trails leading to Monjeau and other camp grounds.
