Bottlehouse Cabins Policies.

Check In: Time is 3 p.m. Although you can call after 12:00 noon and if the cabin is ready, you may check in at that time.
Late Arrivals: We do accommodate for late check-ins. Please notify the office of your estimated time of arrival and arrangements for pick up of the key will be made. Your bill will be charged to the credit card that is used during reservation. If you want another method of payment, this must be pre-arranged with the office. At least one night must be paid in advance for late check-ins with alternative payment methods.
Check Out: Check out is at 11:00 a.m. If you would like to use the cabin for a few hours more, arrangements might be made for a small fee for up to 4:00 p.m. depending on our check in schedule.

Reservations: Are highly recommended. Holidays, Special Events, and rentals of more than one cabin may have a minimum stay requirement, or deposit. All reservations require a one night stay deposit due upon making reservation. This is applied to the remainder of your balance due. Reservations for major holidays require a one day non-refundable deposit that does apply to the remainder of your stay. Only valid Credit Cards will be used for making a reservation.
Maximum Occupancy: We strive to provide a relaxing, enjoyable, and safe stay here at BHC; therefore each cabin has a maximum occupancy that is noted on the website and/or is discussed during the reservation process. If you have more than maximum occupancy upon arrival, an additional fee will be added per person above the maximum occupancy designated for the specific cabin rented. As well, if management deems it necessary, we reserve the right to cancel any reservation at any time due to over-occupancy.
Payment: We require a valid credit card upon reservation of a cabin. Cashier checks/Money Orders for deposits are accepted; however, they must be received by Bottlehouse Cabins within 7 days of date reservation was made and must clear 7 days prior to guest arrival. Accepted Methods of Payment: Cash, Travelers Checks, Cashiers Check, Money Orders, Visa, MasterCard & Discover.
Cancellation: If for any reason you need to cancel, please call 575-336-1145. Do not send emails to cancel as we are in a small town and often our email is not received in a timely manner. Cancellations for single cabin and non-holiday/special events are accepted up to 14 days in advance of the reservation date. Cancellations for multi cabin rentals, holidays, special event weekends and stays of 7 nights or more require 30 days notice. Cancellations made with less than the above stated cancellation time frame forfeit their deposit if the cabin cannot be re-booked for that night. This can be applied to a future stay with us. There is no refund on deposits made for cancellations on reservations during the Christmas Holiday Season and Spring Break. There is a 100% charge for no-shows. There is no refund for departing earlier than dates reserved.

Pets: Are allowed with permission of the management with a prepayment one-time fee of $25 per animal. Dogs and cats must never be left behind in the cabin while you are out unless they are in a locked kennel. Damage caused by your dog or cat will be billed to your room. Dogs and cats should be walked in designated areas only. At present, the designated areas are those areas that have not been developed yet, and you may use these areas, or follow the trail to the National Forest. Please be respectful of our other guests when allowing your pet to relieve themselves. More Information About Dogs.
Phones and Internet: With the prolific use of cell phones, management has decided not to install phones in the cabins. We have found that cell phone reception is adequate to exceptional in the canyon. Each cabin has wireless internet.
Smoking: As our weather is often dry and windy, we are often under a high burn risk; therefore, there is Absolutely No Smoking allowed on Bottlehouse Cabins grounds. Violation of this policy will result in being asked to leave the property immediately.
Hot Tub: All nightly fees listed for cabins include use of a hot tub except for Travis and Shannon cabins. Please shower before use and do not put oils, lotions or any fragrance in the tub, as it will clog the filter and make the water dirty and cloudy. Please use only the blue or black towels designated for the use at the hot tub, and not the monogrammed bath towels. Also, please try to use your towels more than one time. Please do not add water to the tub. Please see the entire policy in BHC guide located in cabin. We reserve the right to add a $50 cleaning charge to the reserved cardholder for excessive cleaning or breaking of policy if necessary.
Quiet Time: Is observed from 10:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. This means that loud music, loud talking, slamming of car doors, or any other obnoxious noise is seriously frowned upon. Sounds within the canyon carry, so don’t say anything you might regret!
Housekeeping: The Bottlehouse Cabins makes an appreciative attempt to be “green” whenever possible. Therefore, we do not clean the cabins except for weekly stays, and that would be after three days time. If you should run out of clean towels, or need another set of sheets, toilet paper, coffee filters, etc. please stop by the office and pick these items up. The trash cans are behind the office. Never leave food or trash, outside the cabin on your deck or in your car. Also do not leave an unattended BBQ pit. This is bear and lion country.
Cleaning Fee: There is no cleaning fee added to your room cost for parties less than 4. For parties greater than 4, there is a $25 cleaning. We do ask that you wash your dishes and throw out all trash in the trash cans located behind the office. We reserve the right to add a $25 cleaning fee added to the reserved cardholder for excessive cleaning if necessary.
Wildlife: If you see a bear, you will probably scare it more than it will scare you. Normally, they just pass through, and do so rather quickly. Do not feed it, or antagonize it. Calmly go inside, and it will probably go away shortly. Should you see a mountain lion, do not run. Screaming at it and making yourself seem large and aggressive will scare it. Pick up small children and hold them.
Keys: Keys should be kept with you for ingress and egress of your cabin. Please note that the key should be put in the mailbox at check out, if there is no one around to take the key from you. Loss of keys will result in a $25 charge.
Miscellaneous: Outdoor furniture should be kept on the deck under the porch roof. There is a fire ring on the property, and some firewood at the tipi. If the night (or day) is still and quiet and you are in the mood for a campfire, please check with the office to see if the conditions are right, and we will start the fire for you.

Disclaimer: Quoted prices will remain in effect unless and until changes in occupancy exceed maximum allowed occupancy per specific cabin. We reserve the right to cancel any reservation at any time due to over-occupancy.
